What We Teach
Zion Yoga offers an adventurous yoga retreat! We start with hatha yoga and focus specifically on proper alignment of the poses and then move into a vinyasa flow yoga. This practice is developed for all different levels so that you can learn as a beginner or simply delve more deeply into your practice if you are more advanced. We aim to work your physical body and calm your mind with this moving meditation. With the fresh air, beautiful surroundings, and physical exertion, your mind will become calm and quiet to help you cope with the stresses of life. Along with yoga instruction we will hike the amazing Zion National Park and go paddle boarding on a local lake. Join us for a day that will awaken your spiritual side as we tune into our own body and our mother earth.
Where We Teach
Our morning practices take place on the grounds of the Driftwood Lodge at the mouth of Zion Canyon. Depending on the day and the class our guided hikes are in Zion, Snow Canyon or the surrounding areas.
Get away, rejuvenate and restore your body, mind and spirit. Our retreats have been developed to enable you to participate in the yoga classes and other activities that immerse you in nature so that you can feel refreshed and rejuvenated on your departure.
Guided Hiking Tour
Join us on an unforgettable adventure exploring the magnificent Zion and Snow Canyon trails. The intense beauty of the landscape and the abundant energy will help ground you and leave you feeling rejuvenated, happy and peaceful. A very humbling experience to share with others as we love and appreciate Mother Earth together.
Get ready to test out your strength by paddle boarding the serene Quail Lake and/or Sand Hollow. What better way to end a yoga retreat than to have playtime on a paddle board, putting to use the strength that you gained from your yoga practice? You can even practice some yoga postures on these boards! In addition to playtime on the lake, we will have a southern Utah style dutch oven dinner on the beach.
